Job summary

Stormont-Vail HealthCare, Inc. seeks an experienced General Surgery and Trauma Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver advanced patient care in the acute care setting, OR, and clinic.

You will work with surgeons, case managers, and the health care team to design treatment plans, manage transitions, and coordinate complex care according to protocols. The role requires graduation from an accredited PA/APRN program, surgical first assist experience, and RN competencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA/APRN program.
• Meets educational preparation or department policy timelines.
• Surgical first assist experience.
• Preferred: general surgery or trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced patient care in clinic, OR, and acute care settings.
• Design and modify individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Coordinate complex patient care from admission to discharge.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with medical staff policies.
