Banner Health's Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is recruiting a Trauma Surgery Faculty member to join a growing Level I Trauma Center, affiliated with UA COM-P. The program emphasizes trauma program development, fellowship education, mentorship, and research growth.

The ideal candidate will lead in academic duties, participate in research, and contribute to teaching and mentorship within a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Trauma Surgery fellowship training completed.
• BC or BE in Surgical Critical Care.
• Eligible for unrestricted Arizona medical licensure.
• Active publications within the past three years.
• Active professional society membership.
• Demonstrated clinical, scholarly and teaching ability.
• Interest in research development and leadership.
• Collaborative professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Emergency, Trauma, and TSICU call coverage (backup call included).
• Elective surgery participation (required).
• ATLS instruction and teaching.
• Minimum 50% attendance at Trauma Executive Committee meetings.
• Mentorship of faculty, fellows, and residents.
• Active research publications and scholarly contributions supporting program verification.
