Job summary

Banner Health is excited to expand its Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive surgical trauma care while mentoring residents and medical students.

We seek a surgeon with board certification/eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, plus fellowship in Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery, & Trauma.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
• Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery, and Trauma.
• Teaching ability and experience with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with diverse students, trainees, and colleagues.
• Participate in Acute Care and Trauma surgery call.
• Provide surgical trauma ICU coverage.
• Deliver backup call coverage as needed.
• Develop a full-time clinical practice.
• Educate residents and medical students.
• Participate in clinical research.
