Banner Health's University Medical Center Phoenix is recruiting a Trauma Surgery Faculty to join a high-acuity Level I program affiliated with UA COM-P. The position emphasizes clinical excellence, teaching, research, and program development in a multidisciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate will hold trauma surgery fellowship training, board certification in surgical critical care, and eligibility for Arizona licensure, with a track record of publications and leadership in education.

Qualifications

• Trauma Surgery fellowship training required.
• BC or BE in Surgical Critical Care preferred.
• Eligible for unrestricted Arizona medical licensure.
• Active publications within past three years.
• Active professional society membership.
• Demonstrated clinical, scholarly, and teaching ability.
• Interest in research development and leadership.
• Collaborative professional conduct.
• Robotic surgery experience (willing to train) preferred.
• ATLS Instructor status (willing to train).
• Academic recognition for teaching or clinical excellence.
• Clinical research or scientist background.

Responsibilities

• Emergency, Trauma, and TSICU call coverage; backup call within shift.
• Elective surgery participation (required).
• ATLS instruction and teaching.
• Minimum 50% attendance at Trauma Executive Committee meetings.
• Mentorship of faculty, fellows, and residents.
• Active research publications and scholarly contributions.
