Banner Health's Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is recruiting a Trauma Surgery Faculty member to join a Level I Trauma Center with ACS accreditation and UA COM-P affiliation.

The ideal candidate will lead trauma program development, fellowship education, mentorship, and research growth in a busy adult-only service line spanning TSICU, outpatient clinics, and elective surgery. Robotic experience welcome.

Qualifications

• Trauma Surgery fellowship training.
• Board Certified or BE in Surgical Critical Care.
• Eligible for unrestricted Arizona medical licensure.
• Active publications within the past three years.
• Active professional society membership.
• Demonstrated clinical, scholarly, and teaching ability.
• Interest in research development and leadership.
• Collaborative professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Emergency, Trauma, and TSICU call coverage (backup call included within shift obligation).
• Elective surgery participation (required).
• ATLS instruction and teaching.
• Minimum 50% attendance at Trauma Executive Committee meetings.
• Mentorship of faculty, fellows, and residents.
• Active research publications and scholarly contributions supporting program verification.
