The role emphasizes clinical excellence, scholarly activity, and leadership in an expanding TSICU and trauma services program, including mentorship of trainees and ongoing research contributions.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Trauma Surgery.
• ,
• Active publications within the past 3 years.
• Active professional society membership.
• Demonstrated clinical, scholarly, and teaching ability.
• Interest in research development and leadership.
• Collaborative professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Emergency, Trauma, and TSICU call coverage (backup call included within shift obligation).
• Elective surgery participation (required).
• ATLS instruction and teaching.
• Minimum 50% attendance at Trauma Executive Committee meetings.
• Mentorship of faculty, fellows, and residents.
• Active research publications and scholarly contributions supporting program verification.
