Job summary

Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, TX seeks a Surgical Critical Care Trauma APP to provide inpatient, critical care support across the hospital. The role requires board certification by AGACNP or NCCPA, Texas licensure, and ATLS within one year, with 12-hour shift coverage and relocation/credentialing as needed.

New grads are encouraged to apply; FNPs are not considered. AHA BLS/PALS and DEA registration are required, with relocation and CME benefits available.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of surgical critical care trauma experience; new grads may apply.
• Licensed to practice in Texas; must have DEA registration and ATLS within 1 year.
• Board certification by AGACNP or NCCPA; BLS/PALS/ACLS current.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-patient, critical care support throughout Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso.
• Work with surgical critical care trauma team; ensure 12-hour shift coverage (7a–7p) as part of a 15 shifts/month schedule.
• Maintain required licenses and certifications; participate in trauma and critical care pathways.

Job Summary:

Las Palmas Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Critical Care Trauma APP to provide in-patient, critical care support throughout the hospital in El Paso, TX.

Qualified Candidates:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 year of recent surgical critical care trauma experience

• New grads are also encouraged to apply

• No FNPs

• New grads are welcome to apply

• 15 -12 hr shifts per month required 7a-7p (with no call component outside the required 12 hours)

• Board certified by the AGACNP or equivalent or NCCPA certification

• Current American Heart Association BLS and PALS, and/or ACLS

• Required: Licensed to practice in the State of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

• Valid DEA registration

• AHA BLS required

• Within one year of employment, the employee will need to become ATLS certified
