Job summary

Las Palmas Medical Center is seeking a Trauma Medical Director to lead the Level III trauma and acute care surgery services in El Paso, TX. The candidate must be a board-certified General Surgeon with trauma program experience or BC/BE in Surgical Critical Care, and hold ATLS certification.

• Provide leadership in the clinical management of trauma services.
• Minimum of fifteen, 24-hour unrestricted call shifts per month plus 1 outpatient clinic day per week.
• Inpatient trauma with rotation in outpatient clinic; laparoscopic/robotics experience preferred.
• Texas medical license or eligibility; ATLS certification required.

• Provide leadership in the clinical management of trauma services
• Minimum of fifteen, 24-hour unrestricted call shifts per month in addition to at least 1 day in outpatient clinic per week
• Inpatient trauma and acute care with a rotation in an Outpatient clinic
• Experience in laparoscopic and robotics preferred
• Level III Trauma program: Registry volume 823, Trauma Admissions 414, Blunt 321, Penetrating 10
• Texas medical license, or eligible for Texas licensure
• Must be ATLS Certified
