Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Trauma Surgeon in Santa Rosa, CA to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. The role emphasizes a no-call, Monday–Friday style of practice with opportunities to apply trauma expertise in wound care.

The position requires an MD or DO, unrestricted CA licensure (or eligibility), and a DEA license (or eligibility). Training in wound care will be provided, with a pathway to build patient relationships and outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligible).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities in the Santa Rosa area.
• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of daily practice.
• Provide trauma and wound care with a Monday–Friday schedule.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
