Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Plastic Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, high-impact role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options and independent contractor-style earnings.

Requirements include an MD or DO, unrestricted California license, DEA license or eligibility, and completion of training in wound care; prior wound care experience is not required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: All backgrounds welcome; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
