Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in McKenzie, TN is seeking a Trauma Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives while maintaining surgical skills in a patient-centered setting.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no-call requirements, a focus on complex wounds, and opportunities to work across skilled nursing facilities. Candidates must hold an MD or DO and an unrestricted license in Tennessee; prior wound care experience is not required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Open background welcomed; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and other procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in SNFs and post-acute settings.
