Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Trauma Surgeon to join a dedicated Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. The role involves collaborative patient care, resident mentorship, and involvement in research.

The candidate will provide clinical leadership, participate in call coverage, and educate learners while maintaining a high standard of patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Board Certification/Eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
• Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery & Trauma.
• Demonstrated clinical and didactic teaching ability.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations.
• ATLS Instructor qualifications and teaching background.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with diverse students, trainees, and colleagues.
• Participate in Acute Care and Trauma surgery call.
• Provide surgical trauma ICU coverage.
• Deliver backup call coverage as needed.
• Develop a full-time clinical practice.
• Educate residents and medical students.
• Participate in clinical research.
