The Clinical Staff Leader (CSL) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center leads a cohort of night shift nurses on the Trauma Stepdown unit, pairing clinical expertise with people leadership to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.

This direct supervisory role requires at least 1 year RN experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a TN license (within 60 days of establishing TN address). You will partner with unit leadership to drive performance in quality, throughput, and staff development.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• State or Compact TN license within 60 days of establishing TN address.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and support of a night-shift cohort of nurses.
• Partner with unit leadership to drive quality, throughput, and staff development.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff to foster a high-performance environment.
• Ensure optimal unit performance and adherence to clinical standards.
