Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Clinical Staff Leader for Trauma Stepdown. This nursing leadership role supervises a cohort of night-shift nurses, partnering with unit leadership to drive performance in quality, throughput and staff development.

The CSL will provide real-time coaching, ensure clinical assignments meet patient care needs, and guide staff through standards and education under the manager's guidance.

Qualifications

• RN with active license and at least 1 year of experience in nursing leadership.
• Bachelor's Degree required; TN license/compact license within 60 days of establishing TN address.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a cohort of night shift nurses.
• Lead unit performance in quality, throughput and service.
• Provide feedback, coaching and development to staff.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules and staffing resources.
