Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME seeks an experienced Trauma Program Manager to lead a comprehensive trauma service. You will coordinate resources, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive data collection for the Trauma Registry while advancing educational programs for staff and the community.

Ideal candidates bring RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/TNCC, ENPC or CEN/CCRN, 3+ years in acute care, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License required.
• BLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current
• TNCC required upon hire and maintain current
• ENPC and CEN or CCRN preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital environment.
• Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills essential.
• Team approach to patient care.
• Working knowledge of computers and computer applications.
• Day and evening flexibility required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources and activities to ensure Trauma Services meets regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate the collection of Trauma data and maintain the Trauma Registry statistics.
• Track Trauma patients through the system from pre-hospital to rehabilitation.
• Coordinate trauma educational programs for the institution and community education/prevention.
• Teach and coordinate educational program experiences; collaborate with health care members to promote comprehensive patient care.
