Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare in Lewiston is seeking a Trauma Medical Director responsible for the development and oversight of the Trauma Program. This position involves directorial leadership in trauma policies, performance improvement, education, and research in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified with experience in trauma care and possess strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective team dynamics and patient leadership in trauma situations.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of clinical experience in emergency/trauma care.
• Two years of administrative experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the trauma program and performance improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with trauma treatment guidelines and government regulations.
• Participate in trauma program marketing activities.
