Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to interpret clinical documentation for ICD-10 coding.

Responsibilities

• Initiates case finding techniques to capture reportable trauma cases.
• Completes abstracts within 60 days from discharge date.
• Maintains data standards for state and national systems (TQIP, NTDB).
• Interprets clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding and sequencing.
