You will accurately abstract and maintain registry information, monitor data quality, assist with reporting, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives while collaborating with clinical teams and ensuring compliance with registry standards.

Responsibilities

• Document data and attendance at continuing education programs.
• Support trauma program service management objectives and quality improvement initiatives.
• Follow protocol for adding/removing patients to the database and identify trauma patients daily.
• Abstract, audit, and retrieve trauma patient data for quality assurance and reporting.
• Maintain the computerized registry system and generate routine and ad-hoc reports.
• Communicate with the Trauma QA/Registry Coordinator for problem solving and data clarification.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to hospital policies.
