Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Trauma Registrar to maintain our trauma registry data and ensure accurate capture across patient care. You will identify, code, and enter data to support performance improvement and research in a high-volume Level I trauma setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma; CSTR within one year for experienced registrars, or CAISS/AAAM course completion as a preference; trauma registry experience at a Level I facility is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CSTR within one year for experienced registrars; three years for new registrars.
• CAISS certification or AAAM course completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain trauma registry database, including identification, collection, coding, scoring and data entry.
• Support incidence, treatment and outcomes tracking, performance improvement, administrative planning and research.
• Coordinate follow-up activities for data accuracy and completeness.
