Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license required.
• BLS/ACLS/TNCC certifications required upon hire and maintained.
• 3 years clinical healthcare experience required.
• Trauma data base training preferred.
• Certification Examination for Trauma Registrars – CSTR within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains clinical and statistical data, AIS coding, ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM codes, and abstracts data elements per ACS, NTDB, Trauma Program, and DRMC requirements.
• Provides data and statistics from the trauma registry to the Trauma Manager monthly and upon request.
• Assist the Trauma Manager with trauma outreach efforts.
• Reports to the Trauma Manager and adheres to trauma registry standards.
