Prime Healthcare in Dallas is seeking an RN Trauma Registrar to ensure accurate data collection, coding (AIS/ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM), and abstracts for the Trauma Registry in alignment with ACS and NTDB standards.

You will generate monthly data for the Trauma Manager, support outreach efforts, and contribute to quality assurance and program improvement through precise data entry and analysis.

Formación

• RN license required (state)
• BLS certification at hire
• ACLS required on hire
• TNCC required on hire
• Typing skills and computer literacy
• 3 years healthcare-related experience
• Trauma registry training preferred
• Data entry skills and basic anatomy knowledge preferred
• Understanding of QA and process improvement preferred
• Experience in data analysis and reporting desired
• Must pass CSTR within 90 days of hire

Responsabilidades

• Creates and maintains clinical and statistical data, AIS coding, ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM codes, and abstracts data elements for ACS, NTDB, Trauma Program, and DRMC Hospital.
• Provides data and statistics from the trauma registry to the Trauma Manager monthly and upon request.
• Assists the Trauma Manager with trauma outreach efforts.
• Reports to the Trauma Manager and adheres to trauma registry standards.
