Job summary

Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA seeks an RN Supervisor for the Clinical Trauma Registry to oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality data, and maintain compliance with NTDB/TQIP and MA DPH reporting.

You will lead five trauma registrars, supervise coding, validation, and audits, and collaborate with the Trauma Program to support clinical and program goals. This on-site role emphasizes training, AIS/ICD-10-CM expertise, and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Experience with ICD-10-CM inpatient coding required.
• Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry certification (CSTR) required by hire date.
• CAISS certification required by hire date.
• Massachusetts RN license required by hire date.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Trauma Registry operations and prioritize workflow.
• Ensure staff are trained in ICD-10-CM, AIS coding, and data entry.
• Lead TQIP participation and ensure education compliance.
• Coordinate monthly Trauma Multidisciplinary Committee.
• Prepare, analyze, and validate registry data for quarterly reports.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and secure data handling.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors to improve data collection.
