Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Clinical Trauma Registry to oversee daily operations, ensure data integrity, and lead regulatory reporting. You will supervise trauma registrars and coordinate with the Trauma Program leadership to maintain high-quality trauma data for national and state reporting.

Responsibilities include training staff in AIS/ICD-10 coding, supporting TQIP participation, and collaborating with ITS/vendor teams to implement registry updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience with ICD-10-CM inpatient coding.
• Proficiency in trauma registry processes and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Trauma Registry operations and manage workflow.
• Ensure staff training and competency in coding and data entry.
• Lead TQIP participation and data dictionary updates.
• Support ACS and MA DPH verification activities and on-site surveys.
• Coordinate monthly Trauma Multidisciplinary Committee.
• Prepare and validate quarterly reports for TQIP and MA DPH.
• Conduct data validation audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Produce performance improvement reports for multiple stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for database enhancements with IT and vendors.
• Collaborate with clinical teams on data trends and decision making.
• Coordinate research data requests and support publications.
