SGMC Health's Trauma Department in Valdosta, GA seeks a Trauma Registrar to oversee daily registry operations, including data abstraction, coding, entry, and confidentiality. The role encompasses sharing data with state and national entities and addressing database issues.

Requirements include nursing education, RN license in Georgia, and completion of ICD-10 coding and Trauma Registrar courses within defined timelines. Independent work and collaboration with clinicians are essential.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Georgia or comparable coding/trauma registry experience.
• Completion of ICD-10 Coding Program within 3 months of hire.
• American Trauma Society Trauma Registrar Course within 3 months of hire.
• CAISS or CSTR preferred.
• Minimum 1 year coding experience or trauma registry experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office and registry management.
