Job summary

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in health-related field required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
  • Paramedic license in Michigan preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a comprehensive listing of trauma patients.
  • Abstracts chart data for trauma registry data points using ICD-10 CM.
  • Ensures accuracy of registry data and data entry into the trauma registry database.
  • Performs data cleaning and validation of registry information.
  • Assist in trauma service activities including monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Attends monthly trauma system meetings and participates in professional development.
