Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; related degree preferred.
• Complete Trauma Registrar course within 9 months of hire.
• AIS scoring certification within 1 year of employment.
• CCA or CCS certification highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Enter documented injuries and care into the TraumaOne database accurately and timely.
• Assign diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10 and AAAM coding systems.
• Maintain 80% of cases completed within 60 days of discharge.
• Support data validation and ensure data integrity for accreditation.
• Collaborate with Trauma Program Manager to optimize data abstraction.
