Qualifications

• 1 year of ICD-10-CM coding for injuries in an Acute Care Hospital.
• 1 year of ICD-10-PCS coding in an Acute Care Hospital.
• 1 year of EPIC Health Record System experience in an Acute Care Hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Abstract clinical and demographic data from patient records and code for injury severity and procedures.
• Review patient records and ensure accurate data entry into the trauma registry.
• Generate and provide statistical reports from the trauma registry as requested.
• Collaborate with the team to support trauma data quality and integrity.
