Pride Health is hiring a Trauma Registrar for one of its clients in California.

This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of an extension with competitive pay and benefits. This is a fully Remote role.

Location – Remote

Length of assignment – 3 months (Possibility of an extension)

Pay range - $40 - $43 per hour.

Shift – Monday to Friday - 08:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Trauma Registrar to support the Trauma Services team. This is a remote contract position requiring expertise in EPIC EMR, Trauma One Registry, and trauma coding standards (ICD-10, AIS08, AIS15).

Job Summary

  • Collect, analyze, and input trauma patient data into the Trauma One Registry.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data abstraction for trauma accreditation and compliance.
  • Apply ICD-10, AIS08, and AIS15 trauma coding to cases.
  • Maintain compliance with state and national trauma registry guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the trauma team on performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Recent experience with EPIC EMR and Trauma One Registry required.
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10, AIS08, and AIS15 trauma coding required.
  • Experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity.
  • Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries (CSTR) preferred certification.
