Job summary

Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island is seeking a Victim Services & Care Coordinator for the Trauma Recovery Center. The role provides trauma-informed, victim-centered services to 75–100 participants annually, from intake through follow-up, with care coordination and advocacy.

You will travel to meet participants, coordinate services, and support safety planning while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records. Salary ranges from $77,000 to $81,100 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field.
• Current NY LMSW or LMHC licensure required.
• Bilingual English and Haitian Creole required.
• Experience with victim services, case management, crisis intervention or related services.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, victim-centered services from intake through follow-up.
• Manage 75–100 participants annually with individualized service plans.
• Conduct psychosocial, safety and risk assessments and develop care plans.
• Offer crisis intervention and safety planning; coordinate referrals.
• Assist with housing, benefits, healthcare, legal services and transportation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and HIPAA-compliant records.
