Job summary

Highpoint Health Sumner in Gallatin, TN is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join as Trauma Program Coordinator. This full-time days role supports the trauma program and quality initiatives, coordinating patient care and performance improvement efforts across departments.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop goals, monitor outcomes, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with standards and policies.

Qualifications

• BSN required. Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or Quality strongly preferred.
• Minimum work experience: 3–5 years diverse clinical practice in an acute care environment.
• Previous performance improvement and/or large-scale project management experience required.
• Demonstrated progressive leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop departmental goals, standards, and objectives aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.
• Assist the director with staff relations, performance management and staff satisfaction.
• Schedule, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Deliver presentations at meetings such as Quality and Safety Committee and New Employee Orientation.
