Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall in Newburgh, NY is seeking a Trauma Registry Specialist responsible for maintaining and completing inpatient and outpatient trauma databases, covering pre-hospital, emergency room, hospital course, and final outcome.

Completed work and decisions are made within established departmental guidelines and you will remain an active Trauma Team member. The role supports the Performance Improvement/Patient Safety process and requires maintaining and obtaining

• Maintain and complete Trauma Registry databases for inpatient and outpatient trauma patients across pre-hospital, ER, hospital course and final outcome.
• actively participate in Performance Improvement/Patient Safety processes and maintain required certifications as defined by the trauma program.

The Trauma Registry Specialist is responsible for maintaining and completing current and accurate Trauma Registry (inpatient, outpatient trauma patient) databases, which contain patient-care information from the following phases of care: pre-hospital, emergency room, hospital course, and final outcome. Completed work and decisions made are not reviewed when performed within established departmental guidelines. Maintains an active role as a Trauma Team member. Actively participates in the Performance Improvement/Patient Safety process. Maintain and obtain certifications as defined by the trauma program.
