Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS) license required.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist Instructor certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire date.
• CPR and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Directs level two trauma center operations in partnership with Medical Staff and clinical departments to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Involved in clinical performance improvement activities related to the level two trauma center and regional outreach coordination.
• Collaborates with DMH departments to meet IDPH trauma standards.
