Job summary

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center in Bandon, OR, is seeking a Trauma Program Manager Registered Nurse for an onsite part-time role. The TPM RN will develop, implement, operate, and evaluate the trauma program while delivering direct and indirect RN care in the emergency setting.

The TPM will supervise staff, coordinate resources, and promote education and research across departments. Requires OR RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, TNCC, 1 year trauma experience, and CSTR or readiness to obtain it

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Oregon, BLS/ACLS/PALS current.
• 1 year trauma nursing experience in emergency care.
• TNCC or equivalent certification required.
• CSTR certification required or obtained within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, operate and evaluate the trauma program.
• Provide direct and indirect RN care in the emergency care setting.
• Direct, evaluate and mentor staff across trauma program operations.
• Coordinate resources and communicate needs across departments.
