Job summary

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center in Bandon, Oregon, is seeking a part-time Trauma Program Manager - Registered Nurse. The role combines direct and indirect RN care in the emergency setting with development, implementation, operations, and evaluation of the trauma program.

The TPM RN leads the trauma program, directs work across cost centers, and supports education and research. Requires RN license in Oregon, BLS/ACLS/PALS, TNCC or equivalent, and CSTR or obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Oregon RN license in good standing.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certs current.
• One year trauma nursing in ED.
• TNCC or equivalent cert current.
• CSTR cert current or within 60 days.
• Strong interpersonal and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and EPIC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate the trauma program.
• Direct and support staff across departments.
• Triage and manage trauma patient flow in ED.
