A Director of Trauma Program is needed in Fort Walton Beach, FL, at a 267-bed hospital offering an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Cancer Care Center, open-heart surgery, a main emergency room, a dedicated pediatric ER, and two freestanding ERs.
Reporting into hospital leadership, the Director of Trauma Program leads the strategic planning and day-to-day coordination of trauma care across the full continuum, working to align efforts between local and regional trauma systems. The director develops and oversees processes for monitoring financial performance and resource utilization within the Trauma Center, and manages verification and re-verification activities to maintain the center's standing.
