The ideal candidate has ER/critical care trauma experience, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), and PI/QA familiarity. The job focuses on regulatory compliance and collaboration with trauma leadership to close improvement loops.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of ER or critical care trauma experience.
• Nursing degree; BSN or higher preferred.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS/ATLS-ATCN or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of TQIP and ICD-10 coding.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the Trauma PI program data for accuracy.
• Coordinate PI/QA activities and loop closures.
• Prepare PI/QA reports for department and hospital committees.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation standards compliance for Level I program.
