Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN, seeks an RN Trauma Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator to lead trauma program work and ensure care meets ACS standards from admission to discharge. You will review cases with the Trauma Medical Director and use data to drive improvements.

You will educate clinical teams, coordinate PI events, and present trends at multidisciplinary meetings, contributing to verification and ongoing service enhancements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Emergency Nursing
• Minimum of 1 year Trauma Nursing preferred
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• BS in Nursing Required

Responsibilities

• Review trauma cases in real time and retrospectively to assess quality and adherence to guidelines
• Identify and validate performance improvement opportunities and action plans
• Coordinate and document Trauma PIPS activities, PI events, data elements, and registry information
• Prepare and present selected cases, trends, and quality findings for multidisciplinary meetings
• Educate clinical teams, residents, EMS agencies, and outlying facilities on trauma PI principles
• Collaborate on guideline development, research initiatives, and verification preparation
