Job summary

Smith & Nephew is seeking an Associate Sales Representative to support our Trauma business in Pensacola, FL. You will gain hands-on experience in the operating room, build relationships with healthcare professionals, and develop the technical expertise needed to grow into a high performing sales career.

You will assist with surgical case coverage, manage demo inventory, deliver product education, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience or relevant clinical experience.
• Strong technical learning ability and interest in Trauma Orthopaedics.
• Ability to build relationships with surgeons and hospital personnel.
• Self motivated and results driven mindset with a desire to grow in medical device sales.
• Preferred background in orthopedics or clinical roles such as EMT, Paramedic, Surgical Tech, SPD, OR Aide, or Athletic Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Trauma Sales team across the Pensacola territory to drive revenue growth and achieve quota
• Assisting with surgical case coverage, providing technical support in operating room environments
• Setting up and managing demo inventory, product installations, and troubleshooting equipment
• Delivering product education and in service training to surgeons and hospital staff
• Transporting inventory between customer accounts to ensure product availability
• Building foundational knowledge of Trauma Orthopaedics including internal and external fixation solutions
• Developing strong relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and clinical teams
• Participating in a 24 7 on call rotation with the wider team
