Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Team Lead Charge Nurse for the OR Trauma unit on a full‑time basis. The role focuses on trauma, ortho trauma, plastics, upper extremity, reconstructive joints, and ortho oncology, with 3/12‑hour shifts on weekdays and a rotating schedule.

You'll work under the manager, direct patient care when needed, and lead complex care plans with the interprofessional team. Sign‑on eligibility and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's and RN license.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advanced practice and leadership potential.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience with trauma/ortho exposure.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization, at discharge, and into the ambulatory care setting.
• Leads development and implementation of complex plans of care with defined goals in interprofessional teams.
• Performs direct patient care as needed and serves as clinical resource to nursing and support staff.
• Supports continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to safety policies; RN role is considered safety-sensitive.
