Responsibilities

• Coordinate campus Trauma Services daily operations to ensure efficiency and patient/family satisfaction.
• Monitor compliance with DSHS, TETAF, ACS, TQIP, and SETRAC requirements for trauma designation.
• Oversee patient care from admission through ICU, stabilization and discharge, including performance improvement.
• Track performance improvement initiatives and report outcomes.
• Identify gaps between requirements and outputs and propose improvement options.
• Coach trauma multidisciplinary team to maintain trauma competencies and cost-effective care.
• Communicate effectively with trauma team and ancillary departments to remove barriers.
