Parkland Health in Dallas seeks a Registered Nurse with more than 2 years of experience to coordinate trauma patient care within the Trauma Center. You will apply nursing processes to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for high-acuity patients while guiding other staff.

The role is full-time with weekends (Fri–Sun, 7pm–7am), requiring BLS, ACLS, and trauma certifications; active TX RN license preferred. You will help advance trauma protocols and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of nursing experience required.
• Trauma/acute care experience preferred for direct bedside care.

Responsabilités

• Enhance trauma care for all Trauma Center patients through clinical expertise and protocols.
• Manage trauma activations; document criteria, injuries, plan of care and admissions.
• Perform daily rounds; monitor bed availability and service response times.
• Coordinate care with trauma, neurosurgery and orthopedic teams; ensure family communication.
• Maintain trauma program compliance with ACS and state regulations; continuous improvement.
