Job summary

Parkland Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Trauma Center at the Main Hospital Building in Dallas. The role requires coordination of patient care with a multidisciplinary team and execution of trauma protocols. Flexibility for rotating weekends and holidays is expected.

Applicants should have a valid Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS/ALS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC/ATCN, and other trauma certifications, with at least two years of nursing experience in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Trauma/Acute care experience in a high-acuity setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-focused patient care coordinating with multidisciplinary team.
• Document care plans, activations, and admissions accurately.
• Perform daily rounds to ensure plan of care is implemented and updated.
• Maintain knowledge of trauma protocols and continuous improvement processes.
