Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking a Registered Nurse with over 2 years of experience to coordinate patient care in the Trauma Center. The RN will lead clinical rounds, implement trauma management protocols, and ensure timely documentation and family communication.

Ideal candidates will possess BLS, ACLS/ENPC/TNCC certifications, and ongoing commitment to trauma quality improvement. This role requires weekend night shifts and strong teamwork within a high-acuity environment.

Qualificações

• Must have expert knowledge of all phases of trauma care and transfer guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Enhance trauma care for all patients admitted to the Trauma Center.
• Manage trauma activations and ensure documentation of criteria, injuries, and plan of care.
• Collect data for Trauma Registry and Trauma Performance Improvement processes.
• Perform daily patient rounds, monitor bed availability, and coordinate with care teams.
• Maintain compliance with trauma center designation requirements and professional guidelines.
• Foster effective communication and relationships across the team and hospital staff.
