Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Trauma Medical/Surgical Unit. The 12-hour night shift supports growth toward Charge Nurse and cross-training into ER or Critical Care.

You will provide professional nursing care, collaborate with the care team, and support patients and families. A current RN license and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS may substitute. Competitive benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at hire; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team for assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families.
• Uses resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
• Performs delegation, assessment, care planning, teaching of patients and families, and supports a broad range of nursing duties.
