Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for the Orthopedic Joint Trauma Unit in Boise. The unit has 32 beds and handles high-acuity trauma cases.

The role offers three 12-hour night shifts per week with rotating weekends and a potential sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The position is part of a new care model with a collaborative Team Model including Virtual RNs, bedside RNs, and CNAs, offering opportunities for growth into Emergency Room and Critical Care

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required (ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team for assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families.
• Utilize resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
• Perform delegated tasks, assess, plan care and treatment, and educate patients and families.
