Job summary

OhioHealth in Kentucky is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum. The RN will collaborate with the health care team and be accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing, serving in the Trauma Unit 1.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s Degree, RN licensure, and BLS certification; a state driver’s license is also required. Day shift, 36 scheduled hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required.
• RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• Active Ohio Board of Nursing registration/licensure.
• State driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: initial and ongoing health status assessment.
• Outcomes identification/planning: document planned nursing interventions.
• Implementation/evaluation: evaluate and revise care plan as needed.
• Leadership: participate in process improvements for quality and safety.
• Operations: perform duties with focus on safety and efficiency.
