Job summary

Clarvida in Oregon is seeking a Behavioral Health Skills Trainer to provide strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth and families involved in foster care, adoption, or guardianship. Working with youth aged 3–18, you help develop social, emotional, behavioral and independent living skills that promote stability at home, school and community.

You’ll maintain a small caseload and coordinate with caregivers, treatment providers, schools, and partners to promote positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience; additional education may substitute for years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and auto insurance.
• CPR/First Aid- provided by an agency
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI)- provided by an agency
• Tier 1 Collaborative Problem Solving – provided by an agency
• Fingerprinting and background checks required
