Clarvida is seeking a Behavioral Health Skills Trainer to support youth ages 3–18 and families in foster care, adoption, or guardianship. You will help develop social, emotional, behavioral, and independent living skills to promote stability and resilience in home, school, and community settings.

You will work with caregivers and treatment teams, tailoring skills training to times that matter most for each youth, ensuring collaborative planning and positive outcomes across settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• One year of relevant experience required; additional education may substitute.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance.
• CPR/First Aid and NCI certifications provided by agency.
• Tier 1 Collaborative Problem Solving training provided.
• Fingerprinting and background checks must be satisfactory.

Responsabilités

• Provide strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth and families involved in foster care, adoption, or guardianship.
• Help children and adolescents develop social, emotional, behavioral, and independent living skills.
• Maintain a small caseload and coordinate with caregivers, treatment providers, schools and partners.
• Provide skills training at times most relevant to youth and family.
