Clarvida seeks a Behavioral Health Skills Trainer to provide strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth aged 3–18 and their families involved in foster care, adoption, or guardianship. You will help children develop social, emotional, behavioral, and independent living skills to promote stability in home, school, and community settings.

You will maintain a small caseload, collaborate with caregivers and treatment providers, schools, and community partners, and deliver skills training at

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience—additional education may substitute for years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid training provided by an agency.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training provided by an agency.
• Tier 1 Collaborative Problem Solving training provided by an agency.
• Fingerprinting and background checks clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth and families involved in foster care, adoption, or guardianship.
• Maintain a small caseload to ensure individualized support and coordinate with caregivers, treatment providers, schools, and community partners.
• Coordinate services to promote positive outcomes for youth and families.
• Deliver skills training during times identified as most relevant to the youth and family.
