Job summary

Trinity Youth Services in Yucaipa, CA is seeking a Recreation Team Support Worker to join the residential team. You will establish a recreation program, supervise youth on outings, and provide structure to activities while keeping agency guidelines.

This role focuses on youth aged 13-18 who have experienced trauma. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, plus related experience or education in social sciences or child development.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a recreation program under supervision; monitor events for on-time execution and compliance with agency guidelines.
• Supervise youth during off-grounds field trips and ensure safety and behavior.
• Provide structure and assist with planning recreation activities and outings.
• Ensure dress code and outing requirements are followed; tailor activities to youth needs and goals.
• Support youth who have experienced trauma to develop skills and confidence for a brighter future.
• Serve as a positive role model and help clients overcome effects of trauma.
